ETCS in Australia

ETCS is aiming at being a cost efficient digital replacement for existing disparate analogue railway radio networks across Australia. Several Australian metro railway operators are in the process of upgrading their existing signalling systems to ETCS .

ETCS will create a single standardised signalling system to enable more integration between signalling and other systems.
